Party Wall Matters

The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 provides a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to adjoining buildings/party walls. The Act extended the procedures, which existed for decades in Inner London and Bristol to the rest of England and Wales. CHPK has the knowledge and skills to give independent advice and act in accordance with this legislation, for:

Building owners or occupiers who intend to carry out works to, or adjacent to, an adjoining building/party wall.

Adjoining owners or occupiers who may be affected by such works.

CHPK also advises upon the provisions of the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992 and crane oversailing licences.
